Activity Monitor - no query text.

![Query?][1] [1]: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BEl7K1QCYAE1iV9.jpg:large One query ran wild because of skewed statistics, captured this in the activity monitor (recent expensive queries). Why is there no text in the query column? Tried sp_whoisactive (Adam Machanic) and got the same result. When/why doesn't the query box show any information?

My suspicion would be that it was a query with a RECOMPILE statement which means that some of the information is not stored in cache. But, it's obviously available while the query is running, so you can see what was going on, but not see the text. But I could sure be wrong.
