drop table and recreate, unable to save.

Hi I connected to database in SSMS, now am tring to add new column. I added columns and datatype but upon saving is asking to drop table and recreate.I cannot add new columns.
ssms

There is a warning setting within SSMS option. This could be stopping you. See attached screen shot![alt text][1]. "Prevent saving changes that req table re-creation". Personally, if I use SSMS for table change I like to script the changes and not actually use the GUI (as such) [1]: /storage/temp/657-options_2013-02-11_23-49-19.jpg
