Standalone SSMS Installer

Is there a separate stand-alone installer that can be used to get SSMS for SQL Server 2008R2? Alternatively, what are the parameters that need to be passed on command-line to the sql_ssms.msi file that can be found on the SQL Server 2008 R2 installation media, and what other bits ought to go with it?

I should have explained. The environment I need to upload the installer to is extremely tight for space - not enough for the full SQL2008R2 DVD. And has a *very* slow network connection... It's as if I'm talking to the Antarctica using [IPoAC][1] [1]: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2549

So you are working on a P3 with 850Mb HDD and a 56k modem?

Nah, it's got a 2.1GB HDD. Shame about the requirement to have other software on it...

If the Management Studio Express is enought, than this can be downloaded directly from Microsoft: [Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM - Management Studio Express][1] [1]: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22985

Hi Pavel Yes, I've already got that - but is that the same? And I've got a separate question out about that... http://ask.sqlservercentral.com/questions/97773/ssms-express-will-it-work-against-remote-sql2000.html

Not exactly the same. Some features are missing like Profiler.

Have you tried /FEATURES=Tools with the standard installer?
