SQL replication from DB1 to DB2->indexes process
We have DB1 and DB2. We have some extra indexes in DB2. Question: what will happen with indexes from DB2 when data will be replicated from DB1 to DB2?
If you choose Replicate indexes option while defining the articles, the indexes are also applied on each subscriber. But when you add indexes later to the article they are not replicated. > what will happen with indexes from DB2 > when data will be replicated from DB1 > to DB2? When the data replicates, the corresponding indexes are also updated on DB2, it also checks the integrity of data if your indexes defined is unique, replication may fail if they violates data integrity.
