How to setup replication between...

... SQL 2000 server and SQL 2005? My environment looks like publisher and distributor are SQL 2000 server and i want to configure SQL 2005 as a subscriber. Does it possible and how? Tnx!

huh, I saw this and similar infos but when i want to setup sql 2005 to act as subscriber I receive a message something like "SQL 2005 subscriber is not supported by SQL 2000 distributor!". Of course, thank you very much for advice!

Your distributor should be the higher version or the same version as your publisher, change the distribution to SQL Server 2005. There other restrictions also depending on the type of replication. ok for publisher. but when i want to setup 2005 as publisher i could not do it. tnx!
