ssrs 2012 authentication

Hi there, We run ssrs 2012 on windows 2008r2. We have issues passing thru the authentication from the main site to the ssrs portal which lies directly below the main site. We use basic authentication over ssl as authentication method. We still have to login twice when we want to use the portal. Does anyone have an idea how to pass thrue the first authentication to the ssrs portal without having to logon 2ice? Thnks

I don't believe that Basic Authentication provides for delegation. If it's an internal site, you can use windows authentication to allow the credentials to be passed through. If it's a public site, you'll have to be a little more creative.

If you're using Forms Authentication through an ASP.Net website, it looks like [that website can share the forms authentication cookie with SSRS][1], as long as both the SSRS instance and the IIS instance are hosted on the same server. There are hints that you can go cross-site (like [here][2]), but I've never done it myself.
