Helow guys . so i have this database . of a game MuOnline and i want to delete the content but i want to leave the tabels intact is there any command that can wipe the data from the tables without destroing dables like "drop MuOnline"
You could add some automation to the process by using the undocumented stored procedure `sp_MSForeachtable`: USE MuOnline GO exec sp_MSforeachtable 'truncate table [?]' sp_MSforeachtable iterates through every table in a database and executes the command, replacing the '?' with the name of the table. The reason I've put the ? in square brackets is that the table names may contain characters that mean that the name would not be correctly interpreted - eg 'some-table-name' or 'my table'. However, note that this approach pays no attention to any logical order that should be applied to this process by the presence of Foreign Keys - you may need to re-run this statement a few times in order to get everything. Seriously - don't do this on anything remotely equivalent to a production system - it's extremely dangerous. Make sure you know what you're doing before you start. These undocumented procedures are dangerous, and are unsupported, so don't use them in a production environment as they might be changed without notice from MS and you'll find them doing something odd.
