Partioning Table

i am Using work group edition sql server.can i use Partition in Work Sql Server group edition 2008?.if Yes , how can i use Partition Function in work Group edition.

This would appear to show the first answer is No. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993(SQL.100).aspx Which then means there is no way to answer the 2nd question.

Partition function = No that is an Enterprise feature. Is your data organized in a way that you can manually split it up into multiple file groups? What is the underlying reason you are looking to partition the data?
