SSIS 2012 - Execute DTS 2000 Package Task

Hello... I am migrating from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2012 x64. I am aware that the compatiblity level of the databases needs to be 90 or above. Also, I know that DTS was deprecated in 2012. However, I need to know if I can use the "Execute DTS 2000 Package Task" in SSIS to run the packages until I can recreate them in SSIS? Thanks, Scott

Hi, you cannot use the Execute DTS 2000 package Task in SSIS 2012 package as this feature was deprecated too. You will have to rewrite the package. [ http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb500429.aspx][1] [1]: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb500429.aspx
