odbc call failed

sql server 2005 not sure on service packet windows 2003 server r2 I have interface server that has a service that keeps disconnecting from odbc connection. I tried running odbc trace log and the server ran out of memory. I had to stop the trace because of the memory error. I also rebooted the server too. this issue is still happening. any luck on where to go next?

Are you running the trace on the SQL server itself? What else is on that server? How much memory has the server got? What are SQL Server's memory settings (maximum/minimum)? It might be worth a quick read of the first paragraph of [Jonathan Kehayias's blogpost on the subject][1] to give some guidance on setting the maximum. just 1 interface on one server with access 2003 or access 2007 db and 4 services processing application. the vm it at 22% and the memory doesn't get above 13% when process running. is tarted digging little deeper. it look like sql query could be causing this issue. i check it but it wasn't inner join. I might be looking at the wrong query but not sure.
