How to setup database mirroring for the database which is having encryption

hi, we have a database which is using encryption and we are trying to implement database mirroring on this. for DR testing I fail over the database and got it online on DR,but the users are unable to access the database until i recreated the encryption(master-key) on the DR. Similar thing happened when i fail back the database to prod. Is there an alternative for this instead of creating the master-key every time?

I guess you have not secured the MASTER KEY with a password so the key would have been encrypted by the SERVICE MASTER KEY which is the default behavior. If this is the case then you may need to export the SERVICE MASTER KEY to the mirror site. [This][1] is a very good step by step guide for this kind of setup. Hope it helps.
