SSAS, SSRS, SSIS connection instances are missing!!

I am stealing the title of a forum question, checked the responses, but they don't apply to me.

My environment - sql server 2008 dev edition, windows vista premium, 4 gb memory, 64 bit O/S, more then 100gb of available disk space

I installed everything (SSIS SSAS reporting services). Checked services and everything i installed is up and running. I even created a report against the report server.

But

In SSMS, I hit the Server Type drop down and all I see are Database engine and Compact edition.

With everything installed, confirmed installed and all services running, what do you think the problem might be? I looked at the port issues, made adjustments, no change.

So everything is there, but SSMS can't see them. Help?

Try to connect to your instance from another machine to see if is your SSMS the problem.
