SQL 2008 Book Help

I am trying to teach myself this for a potential job and I wondered if anyone knows where I can get the answers for the exercises in this book. I just need to check my work to make sure I am doing it right. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I realize it's a little self-serving, but since you're just getting started, I recommend Beginning SQL Server 2008 Administration. It was written specifically with the beginner in mind.

That is a good idea and I may try that, but I do understand this but as I said just need a little reassurance.

If you are trying to teach yourself SQL Server 2008, what are you trying to learn? One thing you could do is browse questions here or at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums and read someone's question, try to answer it yourself, and then see what other people have suggested or what the answer turns out to be.

Get the reading recommended by Grant and Steve and I would also recommend installing SQL (any version - developer has all the features and express is free) and working with it, getting to understand how the queries actually work and how they affect a server is vital and its something that a book can only describe.
