about programming lang

Is it necessary to know any one programming lang to become DBA...?

I really liked the answer by @TimothyAWiseman mentioned in this question, which BTW I already referred to you in your prior question

Here it goes

.....If you want to be a SQL Server Developer, you should learn at least the basics of an Object Oriented Language (C# is a good choice, though I mostly use Python myself). SQL Server is a domain specfic language, so you may occassionally need to step outside SQL to get things done. Even if you never develop anything outside of SQL, it will help you to have some idea how the application developers you are working with will be using the back-end that you are developing and maintaining.

My preference would be C#, as CLR is a new horizon which best could be explored by riding this beast.

At least you need to learn the SQL server specific language like, T-SQL, DMO and you should learn Power Shell.
