SSIS 2005 - Configure Error Output for a Dataflow task

I am unable to get the Error rows to be redirected to an error table. I am using a DataFlow task with excel as input and an OLE DB Destination as an output with a transformation task in between. Tried to configure the error output on the transformation task and redirected it to an error table. The errors are not diverted and the Dataflow task fails. Can someone help me? Thanks - Jaya
