Creating Missing Index on MSDB database

Hi, I just run the missing index query on MSDB database and I am getting highly impact on Backupset and RestoreHistory Table. I never done creating index on system databases. Is that safe to create the index? Do you have any suggesting on that? Thanks

I wrote a blog post referencing indexes that I create on MSDB for backup history. If you want you can read up on it [here]( http://timradney.com/2010/10/19/checking-backups/). A great blog I found later about the subject that includes all the indexes you need for backup history on MSDB written by Geoff Hiten can be found [here]( http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/geoffh/archive/2008/01/21/MSDB-Performance-Tuning.aspx). Chances are many of the indexes are the same. My advice is to run Geoff's.
