search box on web site not searching correctly

HI, I am trying to search for information regarding SSIS 2005 data flow task. I have entered into the search box several different values for this search and none of the results are coming close to the search words. Is there a problem with the search component? I am trying to find out when there is an error how to redirect a whole row of flat file input to another flat file. Thanks! Paws27284

Nope. Worked fine. I got a bunch of results from that same search: http://ask.sqlservercentral.com/search/?q=ssis+data+flow+task&Submit=search&t=question

Really? The first result on my list is one about performance on virtualized servers???

Huh... I just looked to see if I got results, not what they were. I don't see a single SSIS question in there. Houston, we have a problem.

Too funny...about as good as the MSDN search functionality where I need to use google to find something on the MS site--pathetic.

If the component that fails has an error Output property, like the Lookup transformation, then you can double click on it and change the eror value from Fail Component to Redirect Row. Then you can connect the red data flow line to the other flat file. But if there is not an option, like for the flat file destination, then you would need to use a conditional split earlier in the data flow to check for errors.

I find the site search to be rather lacking, too. My workaround for this is to go to google (you might substitute your favorite search engine) and type in my search term followed by site: ask.sqlservercentral.com. For example: [SSIS 2005 data flow task site: ask.sqlservercentral.com][1] [1]: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=SSIS+2005+data+flow+task+site:ask.sqlservercentral.com&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
