DBCC SHRINKFILE

Hello, Does this command make any fragmentation in the memory. I read on the one blog if used frequently it creates fragmentation then affects the performance

This is one of the favorite topics, don't shrink unless you really have to. Your database will be heavy fragmented and you need to rebuild your indexes. Fragmentation in memory? I guess all or most of your cached data will be flushed to disk when you shrink your file.
