Reporting Services Parameter Visibility

Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to hide or display a parameter in a report based on the result of a previous parameter?

Visibility of objects can normally be controlled via IIF statements. I am not sure about parameters though. Maybe not visibility, but you could try giving the parameter a fixed value if a certain value is chosen for the "driving" parameter.

To the best of my knowledge the visibility of a parameter is set at the report level and would therefore be set when the report renders to screen. Susequent selections of parameter values wont affect any other parameters visibility. You could set one parameter to control the items in another parameter and therefore use one to elliminate all rows in another. This would have an effect of disabling it from affecting a report dataset but it wont hide the parameter in any way.

That's what I thought the answer was but was hoping there may be a way round it. Many thanks to you both.
