SSIS 2005 Build error

Hi ya'll I have a big solution with multiple packages. For simplicity let's say 5 for now. Package 1 calls package 2,3,4 and 5. I made a change to Package 3, saved it and try to rebuild the solution. I get the following error... The process cannot access the file 'D:\Backup\Application Workarea\SSIS\SSIS Projects\Apmm Nightly Refresh\Apmm Nightly Refresh\bin\Apmm Load Package4.dtsx' because it is being used by another process.. I have tried renaming the file in order to create a new one. I have tried saving the package as a new name, but the build just produced the same error with the next package in line. Any suggestions? Thanks! paws27284

Ah, this sometimes happen :-(. It's sime kind of bug in VS. You have to close the BIDS and start it again. Open the project. If you are missing your renamed file after re-opening BIDS, Right click the SSIS project in the Solution Explorer and choose **Add -> Add Existing Item...**. Do not use the Add Existing Package as it will create another copy of the package and will put the copy inside the project.

Thanks Pavel! I tried your suggestion, but the package the error references is not missing but "is being used by another process". Any other thoughts?

As I wrote, closing the BIDS and reopening the solution should solve the problem with Package being used by other process. But mostly when this happen, the package is renamed on the file system, but the reference in the project is most of time not updated, so after re-opening the solution in BIDS it's necessary to add the right package back to the solution.
