sql-codds rules

is sql 5.5 meets the codds rules? if yes , how?

Taking a wild guess, as I have no Oracle experience, I'd say it's the same as SQL Server and whether a database follows rules for normalisation is down to the developer(s) while building and administering the database.

Codd's rules are about the DBMS itself, and aim to define whether a database management system is fully relational, rather than the normalisation level of the data itself within the database / the design of the database...

To be honest, this looks like a homework question, and, as such, I don't intend to answer it. I will, however, suggest that you look up Codd's 12 (or 13) rules, and assess each one in terms of what MySQL can do *and back it up with examples*.
