Report builder 3.0 does not populate filter formula on query designer

Hi Everyone,

On Report builder 2.0 on SQL 2005 SSRS, the filter on query designer work just fine to dynamically populate the formula on the report designer and report output, so user able to see what filter criteria they use for the report.

After migrating to SQL 2008 R2 report builder 3.0, the filter no longer work. It stay as the last filter value was used in Report builder 2.0 before upgrading to SSRS SQL 2008 R2. I tried to change the value, delete one of the filter and nothing change on the filter. It stay the same.

Filter: View Calls with: All of (Unit Arrived = TRUE, Self Initiated = FALSE, DateTime Entered from 10/15/2008 to 08/12/2011, Address contains "1626 anystreet")

On the filter I change the start date range value to 10/1/2008, and no change on the filter parameter at the bottom page footer of report designer. I tried to change other filter value and does not work either.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get it working? Any comment I would appreciate it.

thanks,
Paulus
