SSRS Drilldown report export to Excel

Hi there, I have a SSRS 2008 report which consists of a matrix with drill down function on the grouping. When this report is exported to excel it doesn't always show the + sign next to the groups in excel. Sometimes the + sign is shown for only a few of the groups and not all of them, sometimes it is shown for all the groups, it seems to be quite inconsistent. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the + sign to show for all the groups when exported to excel?? Many thanks Lisa

Does the group without + has only a single row or have multiple rows?

It has multiple rows. All the groups have more than 1 row. The detail data for all groups is available in excel but you have to use the 1 2 3 buttons at the top left to see that. Without the + sign next to a group you can't show just that groups data. Thanks

My colleague fixed this. In order to achieve a greenbar effect for the rows in the matrix I had added a rectangle to the group header cell and inserted 2 text boxes into this rectangle - one for the field and one to hold an expression that would calculate the colour. This was advised in the following article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb395166(v=sql.90).aspx However, it seems that the rectangle was somehow causing issues with excel resulting in the drill down toggle (+) not awlays showing. By removing this rectanlge the drill down toggle now shows all the time for all groups. Thanks
