[meta] Sorry, but you don't have enough reputation points to upvote

I'm getting this message: "...Sorry, but you don't have enough reputation points to upvote. Please check the faq..." I can't see in the faq, how many points I actually need. Who has control over clarifying the faq?

I see a similar question has been asked before... - and again, results were inconclusive...

It is probably tied in with the same number in order to start adding comments which is 50 points. If you click on users you will see some folks with diamonds next to their name, those are our moderators. If anyone can update the FAQ it would be those guys. It might actually be the folks who run the site and not our mods. You have asked a few questions and gotten some Karma that way, just browse through some of the other questions and try answering them. That is a sure fire way to rack up some karma.

Your best bet is probably to ask @camassey. I don't know if the moderators have sufficient access to be able to answer that question from "the source". For what it's worth, it's probably similar to the StackExchange sites - given that ASKSSC was originally run on that engine. <clickyclicky> Hmm. that's set for 15 rep to vote. And you've got 31. Hmm.

I have 31... no 41... no 51! I had 11 when I posted the question so you may be right with 15. Man things change quick. It's going up like making money on Wall Street... no wait...

The information in the FAQ page is actually derived directly from "the source", so it's accurate (if not necessarily comprehensive).
