Count in SSRS report

Hi, I am developing a report showing the details of employees enrolled in various investment plans. The report is grouped by investment plan. For each plan, I need to show the total no of employees enrolled in that particular plan. I am not sure how to calculate group count and display it below each group. Kindly help. Thanks in advance!

edit the table and add a group footer. in a cell in this row you can add a function to count the employees. this will give the total you need

sorry, just noticed you are on 2008... below the report designer area there is a section where the grouping is shown. click the down arrow-head and select add total .. below. then select the required cell in the new row that appears and edit the expression to be "=count(investmentplan.value)"

Can you please be more specific? I don't see any option for adding a group footer to the table :(

then you added the group row to the whole table rather than the investmentplan group. You are close if you managed to add a total to the report, you just need to hit the right place. Where else have you looked for assistance? Have you read this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms170712.aspx

thanks for the link but i did go through it before posting my question here. it tells how to display the total of field values where as what i want is the count of rows in each investment plan group. for eg if 10 employees have enrolled in plan A, then below the plan A group, i need to display total no of employees = 10.
