I'm having a problem with SSRS 2005. I just started working on a couple of old reports.
Every time I want to access the query from the data tab, it immediately goes to design mode, with no data displaying and command type MDX and generic query designer greyed out.
Then, when I go back to the layout tab, it deletes my query! My data set is then empty with no fields (Cant drilldrown in the data set) and I cannot preview the report. If I view the code I can see that everything is deleted below where the query should be? and my query is replaced by SELECT NON EMPTY { } ON COLUMNS FROM [CubeName] CELL PROPERTIES VALUE
The reports works fine when I dont access the Data tab and/or if I edit the query in XML view (right click 'view code')..
I've accidentally saved the reports after I have viewed the Data tab, and had to fix it by copying the code(Everything from the query down) from an older report to the new reports' code. This has worked for me, but I still have the same problem when I try to view the data.
How can I fix it so I can view and edit the query in the data tab, and SSRS doesnt delete my code.
