Could not stop SQL server

Hi All

Im trying to stop the SQL server service, but i have got this message.

could not stop the SQL Server service on local computer Error 1053: the service did not respond to start or control request in a timely fashion.

In event log : There is insufficient system memory to run this query.

Are you able to perform a reboot on the machine?

Once done, check your SQL memory configuration and ensure that you are giving enough to the OS for it to do it's work.

What version of SQL/OS are you running?

How about the reboot? What's the server memory and max memory for SQL?
