Is AMD Processor can be cause of this issue because in system requirement of installation SQL 2005 Express they required Computer with Intel or compatible Pentium III 500 MHz or faster processor (1 GHz or faster is recommended.)?

- Reboot into safe mode. - Disable SQL Service (or Uninstall SQL Server) - Patch Windows XP with SP3 - Patch SQL Server to SP4 (or Install SQL Express SP4) You seem to have hit the magic combination of SQL and Windows XP that cause this error - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/petersad/archive/2009/01/20/sql-server-2005-sp3-sql-server-2005-sp2-cus-or-sql-server-2008-may-cause-xp-sp2-to-restart.aspx

AMD chips are compatible, so that fact alone would not cause the problem. Have you tried the patches as suggested in the article linked to by @Magnus Ahlkvist and myself?
