BIDS 2008 or Report Builder 3.0 - Parameter Pane control

Can anyone point me to a relevant article or just tell me what can be done in regards to the placement of items in the parameter pane when the report is run. I have come to the conclusion that the control is very limited. I know you can order the parameters and I am pretty sure you cannot define much about what appears in terms of co-ordinates within the pane, colour font etc. However can you control the number of lines the parameters are displayed on. For example I am currently building a report with four parameters and the product insists on displaying them in two lines (Two parameters on each). I wish to have all four parameters displayed on one line. Is this possible or am I just expecting too much?

I would be interested to know this as I never found a solution, it just wraps the information round and spreads it over as many rows as it sees fit!

Are you talking about this part of a parmed report: crap, I need karma of 60 to upload an img. Anyway, SSRS is a combo of IIS/HTML/javascript etc. Load a parmed report then do a view source. If I understand your question, this will be best solved by looking at Sharepoint-like code that is served from IIS. Parm fields to me look like they are within tags. Autogeneration of those tags would most likely stack multiples. Find a way to override that and you should have it licked. A hand-edit to merge the cells would do it, just don't open the report in BIDS again or it will reverse the changes. If this answer is totally off target, feel free to delete.

Thanks for the response Ken. I do not doubt your answer but I was hoping/looking for a less complexed solution which was possible within the boundaries of BIDS or Report Builder. From the lack of responses on this question I assume people either just accept this limitation or rarely use parameters!
