How does one give access to trace files ?

How does one give developers access to trace files ? Thank you.

Is there some specific reason you haven't approved the answer? Do you have some reason to believe the answer isn't reasonably correct? Is there some reason you can't take the actions suggested by Hillbilly Toad and would like a different option? If so, you should probably edit your question or, better, accept this one and enter a new, more specific question outlining the limitations of your installation or ability to access resources.

I can think of 2. Give them FTP access to the UDUMP directory on the host server/OS or create a database directory and let them access the trace files using UTL_FILE or similar via the database.

Toad has an interface to managing your traces if you need help...

Apologies for the late approval for your answer. You are absolutely right. If we need your interference to view the trace files then surely i'll take your help. Thank you.
