question

Hello, I have been a DBA either in a single or two DBA environment managing upto 350 servers and muti TB environment efficiently. One of the career goal I have set was to get PMP certification and attend leadership classes to be prepared to make my way up whenever opprtunity arise and time is right for me. Plus, I just like to learn and I believe learning project methodology will only help working on larger initiatives. In order to be able to fulfill the prereqs for PMP, I have been logging all the DBA initiatives like encryption, upgrades, security changes, consolidation, virtulization etc etc as my projects when one or more teammates are involved and there is no official Project Manager assigned to drive the project. I would like to know whether any SQL Server Central readers have received PMP certification working in DBA/Sr DBA capacity? If yes, I would like to hear the tips mainly on submitting the projectwork for evaluation to the PM organization. Thanks, Neepa
