SSRS SELECT ALL

Hi, - Is there, in SSRS 2005 or 2008, any way around selecting all values from the multivalued parameter drop down list when a user chooses "Select All"? I mean, checking "Select All" actually means that a user does not care about a value for this parameter, so there is no need to check database against the whole list of selected values - they ALL are good, by default. But what actually happens is that SSRS painstakingly checks all the values in the "selected all" list (which sometimes contains thousands of values!). I personally think it's a problem, and the correct way would be - if a user checked "Select All" then no checks are performed. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you, - Tatyana

You can add another value into the list representing the All. Then if the final list will contain the All, then you will know, you can ignore the list and do not perform checks.

I will do exactly as you suggested! Wow, such an easy and elegant solution! And if to set that "All" as a default value for this parameter a user could go straight to the next parameter. Thanks a lot!
