DATABASE BACKUP FILES

Sql server2000 backup file. How can I install the email attachment file into sql server, if I did not originate the backup file? school project with team members attempting to send the backup file among the group to complete the project.

??? This isn't very clear. Try restating your question with more complete information and maybe an example.

Save the attachment to somewhere in your file system, eg: c:\users\rob\desktop\myfile.bak.

Then use the Restore option in Management Studio, and provide this path as the location of your backup device.
