sql query for data

Hello,

Is there any sql query which can show me the data entered in table on perticular date? the catch here is the table does not have any data column!

Please advise,

Not to my knowledge. If you had been running a trace or something like that possibly but if you do not capture date in your table, then you can not filter on date. Can you post some of your table structure so we can get a better idea of what you are dealing with?

As Trad said, not without something more. Now, if you are in full recovery mode, there are some log viewing programs that will permit you to use the transaction log, but they tend to be slow and painful to use.

There are some auditing programs that will help you track that kind of change. SQL Server 2008 for instance introduces further change tracking tools with the server. MSDN has an overview of that at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb933875.aspx Depending on what you want, you can also write triggers that will automatically track the changes as you want them tracked. That is the approach I normally take as it gives me the greatest granularity.
