execute SSIS package via task scheduler fails
When I am schedule a SSIS package via windows task scheduler, it fails with EventID 12291. I can run the package via BIDS and at the command prompt. I need to know how I can debug this and see what the probelm is.

If you schedule the SSIS package using agent job, you will have a detailed information about the failures and complete error messages in the history log of the job. [1]:

Not sure I can, the server that is running integration services is not the same one that is running db services. The integration server does not have a sql server agent loaded, thus is was trying to run the package from a command line. Again it works from the command line just not as a scheduled task. thanks
Did you take a look on the error codes on Technet site I provided? By identifying the error code you could imagine what could causes the problem.
