How to set up ssis on the machine

i have a question about setting up SSIS environment for the developers to develop ssis packages. I have never done it before so wondering what is the right practice to set the environment on the production. I have installed the software and have the integration services running.. but not quite sure if i covered everything by doing that. Does anybody have an idea, as how a complete full fledged SSIS development and productions system should be like. I am not sure of any special configurations or users acccount has to be created or not. I would want to understand from a DBA perspective. Thank you.

If you are talking about full on implementation best practices, you may want to look at this: [Managing and Deploying SSIS][1] As with all parts of sql server, you can lock it down pretty tight. I have only ever used the standard installation with defaults - adding people to the database roles in msdb db_dtsadmin (ssis admins), db_dtsltduser (lowest rights for ssis outright) and db_dtsoperator (mid-level). These are explained in the link provided. I am sure we are not conform to best practices, but we do very little with SSIS, a bit of import/export and that is all.
