What's the best way to backup replication in SQL Server 2000?

We are running transactional replication on SQL Server 2000. Subscribers, publishers and distributor are all on different servers. What's the best way to backup replication so that it could be rebuilt on either the subscriber, publisher or distributor?

You can script out the replication setup, which is your best bet. Be sure that you note where server names are used in case you need to change the names later.
