How to notify an external application about changes in master data?

I need to notify an external application (for eg. Biztalk), whenever there is any change in master data through Master Data Services. By what means I can achieve it?

Take a look at [this blog series from the Master Data Services Team Blog][1] - it provides an example of rule based notifications in MDS and should get you started. [1]: http://sqlblog.com/blogs/mds_team/archive/2010/02/15/enabling-human-workflow-part-1-changing-your-model.aspx

Thank you for your response. The Blog that you mentioned refers to email notifications. However, I am looking for a way to keep data synchronized across several application, that to via Biztalk. And, require some mechanism present in MDS to inform Biztalk, about the case when there is change in Master data.

I didn't look into it much further and assume that you could change the email notification to something similar like Service Broker, which could then do something like talk to Biztalk
