Transfer 2000 database data to 2005 database on separate computers

I need to transfer data from a Primavera P5 database on one machine with SQL 2000, onto a separate machine that has P6 and SQL 2005.

I'm not sure if I should transfer the entire database and merge them somehow, or just transfer individual projects.

What are my options?

maybe you should consult the software support for this.
