a log of table modifications/updates in SQL Server 2005

I am looking for some sort of log table that tells me where my data has "gone" in SQL Server2005. In the application that runs on top of the SQL DB we enter information, but I can't find there it is going? I assume there must be a logging file that lists at the least the table that has been modifed.

regards, Michael.
