SSMS Open File Default

In SQL Server Management Studio (2005), when you open files, the default action is to show "All Files (*.*)." Is there a setting, tweak or trick that will change that default to show only SQL Server Files (*.sql)? This is minor, but can be annoying if you forget to change it and look at a long list of unneeded files.

Not that I am aware of, or that I can find in SSMS Tools|Options. I guess it comes from the fact that the file extension is irrelevant, compared with the content that it contains. It is only the content that gets executes, what we choose to call the file is totally unknown and unneeded by the SQL Server . . .

@Mark This is a little bit off, but what you can do is to add custom places to that Open File dialog (in the left frame). This way, you can quickly navigate to the desired location which hopefully only contains .sql files. Here is the link: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic907188-391-1.aspx

Thanks Fatherjack. It's true that the .sql file is just a text file. I looked in the Tools/Options too and didn't see it. But I wish it was there just the same! Sometimes the answer is no answer, so you get this one.
