Import .rpt file directly in SQL Server

Hello All, Please let me know how to Import .rpt file directly into SQL Server without changing the format. Thanks Naina

What do you mean by RPT file? There are various different definitions.

Hello All, Thanks for ur response. Yes im talking about Crystal report.i have heard about Report Commander .But I wanted to know can we write a script in query analyser to import data from .RPT file or is there any way we can do it from Management Studio. Thanks Naina

Do you mean the report definition or the data contained in it? If you mean the data, you could possible export it to CSV and then import into a SQL database. Why dont you extract the SQL statement from the report at run that within SQL?

Do you mean RDL? RPT is normally a Crystal report.
