sql server 2008 memory consumption

hi team, we are using sql server 2008 , with windows 2008 server as our operating system .both are of 64 bit .these days i can find RAM memory is mostly consumed by the by sqlservr.exe. it generally grows up and never comes down.please help me

He might be looking for a possible source of a database server abuse which they probably have going (leading to non-stop increase of memory usage for some unknown reason), but without knowing about details, it would be impossible to figure out :(

This is normal behaviour. Like all DBMSs SQL Server works best with lots of RAM. It will use as much as it can if that memory isn't required for anything else.
