Please suggest best method to restart the cluster after windows security patches update.

Thanks in advance!

Node by node, 4,3,2,1

Patch reboot DR data centre first.
Wait for them to be back online.

Patch secondary in primary data centre

Wait for it to be online

Failover

Patch the last machine

Wait for it to be online

Failback over if you wish

No, you need to reboot after patching so you need to failover.

If patching SQL , it stops the services also so you again need to failover.
