Newspaper column style report
We have a report that shows the staff phone list in a table. It's quite narrow (Name, Extension, Full Number) but long and now prints on two pages. Most people want to print it (I know!) and they want me to wrap the list round to the top of the page and show a second set of columns beside the first set, so the list prints on one page. Like this: Name Ext Full No. Name Ext Full No. I can't find any obvious properties in the Tablix or Tablix group to enable this, but I'd be surprised if it's not possible. Any ideas, please?
Right click in the body of the report and then go to the properties, there is a column property that is set to 1 by default. Change that to 2 and you may well have what you want ...
Jack, you beauty! Thanks very much. For the record it's a property of the Report, not the Body. It's odd but it only goes to 2 columns when you print the report or open it as a PDF. Apparently this is by design, though, so that's alright.
