AG quorum- how is it affected when nodes are removed from AG but continue to be part of windows cluster?

I have a 4 node cluster (2 synch,2 asynch,Fileshare witness). Due to performance issues I have removed the 2 asynch nodes from AG. I have let them be a part of the windows cluster though. Now, how will this affect my AG quorum? Will the 2 async nodes continue to vote even though they arent part of the AG ? Or it only the FSW , the 2 synch nodes that vote for AG quorum ?

Why does the AG dashboard show that the 2 synch nodes have votes even though they arent part of AG anymore? They re only part of the windows cluster.

Should my actual vote only be FSW + Synch node1 + synch node 2?

Also, at what point will my AG lose quorum considering that only 2 of my 4 nodes are actually part of AG?

Quorum is a cluster setting not an AG setting, so the basic premise still ensues, so with that 5 node vote, lose 2 your ok, lose 3 your down.
