[meta] search, with sorting, still seems a little off

I just done a search for all questions containing the word 'meta' and then clicked 'newest' to sort them in order, but it didn't work ...the url was The third in the list is a question I asked last October!

The sort buttons have no effect on the search results, newest, hottest none have any effect on the order of the results.
