We have SQL EXPRESS 2014 at a client on WIN 10 PC. We use service_broker_guid of msdb as part of our software registration process. Any changes on the above guid will force our software to request registration over again.
The client does not know how to change the service_broker_guid nor do we give access to SQL server, but somehow every month or so the client calls for re-registeration of the software. In most cases the quid goes back and forth between 3-4 different guids.
What are the cases where SQL server will automatically change the guid on msdb database (i.e. without user intervention / or modifications on SQL Server)?
