Extend Volume... Greyed Out Windows Sever 2012R2

I have AWS EC2 WS\2012R2 Instance w\EBS Volumes. I was able to successfully Modify (ADD Space) in AWS. When I RDP to instance and R-Click on volume the Extend Volume option in greyed out. I have attempted NUBI Partitioner (free) & AOMEI Partition Assistant (free) but both failed to install on OS. Not sure how to resolve this issue any help is much appreciated.

Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 512.0 KiB each and 1.0 MiB total.

Can you try doing it in DISKPART? or in Powershell?

@ThomasRushton Thanks for your response. Diskpart would have resolved my issue, but this particular volume is an older MBR(Master Boot Record) instead of newer GPT (GUID Partition Table). The MBR can not be extended past 2TB which is why extend volume option is greyed. Diskpart failed and gave detailed error.
