Need help with DATA CONVERSION in SSIS

I have an XLS file that has a column formated as GENERAL and contains 11.18.2019

In my SQL table i have this column defined as DATETIME

I have tried every data type in the DATA CONVERSION TRANSFORMATION EDITOR. an i still get the error message.

QUESTION... what changes should i make to either the DATA CONVERSION or the table?

I am very new to this so any help is appreciated.
